Andrew A. "Andy" Heyward (born February 19, 1949) is an American executive producer, writer, and former chairman and CEO of DiC Entertainment. He produced the original Inspector Gadget cartoon, along with Jean Chalopin, the founder of DiC Entertainment, and Bruno Bianchi. During the early stages of the show, Heyward wrote the original story bible, developed the concept and wrote the script for the pilot episode, Gadget in Winterland.
