BritBox is a digital video subscription service created by the BBC and ITV, serving the United Kingdom, United States and Canada, with an anticipated launch in Australia in late 2020.
In March 2022, ITV launched its new ITVX streaming platform which would replace ITV Hub and include access to BritBox for British consumers. Due to this announcement, the BBC has decided to sell its share in BritBox UK to ITV, but will still remain a content provider to the service.
