Chimney Gadget is the great grandfather of Gadget, he and his wife Char Gadget appear in the season 2 episode Gadget's Clean Sweep when Gadget goes back in time to meet them.
Chimney would be the grandfather of Jules, Gadget's father.
The Gadget's family tree shown at the start of Tyrannosaurus Gadget features a man resembling Chimney (albeit older) although he is only shown two generations below Gadget, instead of the expected three.
This gives the impression of him being Jules' father, though a more likely explanation is that generations are missing from the chart, since it only takes seven steps to trace them back to Cave Gadget.
Physical Description[]
Chimney resembles his great-grandson, but he wears a salmon shirt and pink neckerchief under a charcoal tail coat, pink trousers and black shoes.
Personality[]
Chimney shares his great-grandson's cluelessness, but he loves his wife dearly. He speaks in a Cockney accent.
History[]
He and Char first appeared at London Docks, where they were greeted by Gadget, Penny and Brain. While the Gadgets went to a pub for some beers, Chimney and Char became the targets of Thelma Bodkin, and her two thugs, the Cockney Thief and Percy, along with their great-grandson. However, their attempts failed with Brain's help and Gadget's bumbling. Chimney and Char mistook their great-grandson for a governor.
Chimney and Char were last seen, watching their great-grandson, Penny and Brain fly over to a boat to reach Von Slickstein's Time Machine with his Gadget 'Copter, with Gadget telling them to say "hello" to his parents.
