Donald Harvey "Don" Francks (February 28, 1932 – April 3, 2016) was a Canadian actor, musician, and singer. He voiced Fred and Squirt in Inspector Gadget. He also voiced Dr. Claw in the first 26 episodes in production order (though he was dubbed over by Dr. Claw's original voice actor, Frank Welker, in all of the episodes except The Coo Coo Clock Caper, Basic Training, Gadget Goes West, and M.A.D. Trap, and Welker didn't completely dub over his performance in Race to the Finish), as well as Penny in The Curse of the Pharaoh when she uses her voice changer during the climax.
