Inspector Gadget Wiki

Dr. Claw's robot army was an army of intelligent robots constructed by Professor von Slickstein.

Physical Description[]

The robots resemble Inspector Gadget, but with aerials on their hats, yellow eyes, steel grey and green in color and white gloves and shoes.

Personality[]

The robots are loyal to both their master by giving him the M.A.D. Salute, but they were previously reprogrammed by Von Slickstein to be weak and feeble like him.

Routine[]

Claw kidnaps Professor von Slickstein, and takes him to his headquarters at an old pyramid in the Amazon Basin to help him build his indestructible robot army to take over the world.

After Slickstein completed the army, Claw orders him to activate them to see them in action. But when Claw ordered the robots to walk, they suddenly get out identical walking sticks and started walking like Slickstein, angering Claw when he saw that Slickstein tricked him, and ordered him to make the robots work better in ten minutes.

However, before Slickstein can do anything to the robots, Penny, who had been watching the operation, tells him that must think of a way to save Gadget who was at that moment about to be burned by Amazon Annie. After listening to Penny's plan, Slickstein tells Claw the only way to make the robots into fighting machines is to transfer Gadget's brainwaves into the robots.

Claw orders Hangnail to contact Amazon Annie to release Gadget from his burning demise, however after failing to get the transmitter to work, Penny fixes it, and Claw orders Annie to set Gadget free, and he sends his M.A.D. Mobile to pick up Gadget and bring him to his base.

After the M.A.D. Mobile brought Gadget to Claw's base, Claw prepares to transfer his brain impulses into the robots. Before the transfer was complete, Penny and Brain trick a gorilla with a banana which got thrown into the brain transfer machine, and the gorilla, after ripping the machine open and tossing Gadget aside, ends his brain impulses transferred into the robots, making them act like monkeys, causing them to tear up the base.

With his plan ruined, Claw and M.A.D. Cat make their escape, and Slickstein help Gadget out of the pyramid, just as it exploded, taking the robots with it.
