Drs. Null and Void are twin M.A.D. doctors working for Dr. Claw.
Routine[]
Null and Void created a giant lens to evaporate every ocean and lake on Earth from a space station orbiting Earth. In order to do so, they took over the station, locked the three scientists in room number 6 and deactivated the voice responsive computer H.A.R.O.L.D.'s free will. H.A.R.O.L.D. was ordered to cooperate in Dr. Claw's scheme to evaporate all bodies of water on the Earth, starting with Metro Park Lake. When Gadget, his niece Penny and their dog Brain arrived on the station, Void told H.A.R.O.L.D. to activate the cleaning droids and program them to destroy the new arrivals. When that didn't work, Null and Void used sleeping gas on the trio and had them brought to the anti-gravity chamber. Gadget eventually made his way back to Null and Void, and they persuaded him to take a space walk and cut his lifeline. Meanwhile, Penny managed to restore H.A.R.O.L.D.'s free will circuit. Null and Void removed it again, and were startled to see Gadget back inside the station. They had to continue with their work as the sun was almost in the right position, but Brain re-activated H.A.R.O.L.D.'s free will and the computer decided to destroy the lens. With their plans foiled, Null and Void decided to escape in a pod.[1]
Null and Void used a shuttle to land on the Moon where they planned to carve the M.A.D. insignia into the moon to celebrate Claw's birthday In order to do this, they strategially placed exploding kewpie dolls into the ground. Because of the lack of gravity, they had to use a Gravity Charger to do this. One of the dolls was much larger than the others as it's explosion was meant to create the largest part of the M.A.D. logo.. Gadget and Capeman began to collect the dolls, thinking they were moon creatures, and took them to the Gadget Van, which had been modified to be a moon buggy. Null and Void tried to get the dolls back, but were mistaken for moonmen as well, and got into a fight with the Inspector and his assistant. Brain had gotten hold of the Gravity Charger, and Penny used it to send the Kewpie doll bombs flying up into space, where they safely exploded like fireworks.[2]
Null and Void placed a black box on a satellite, causing it to send all money transactions done by the Metro City Bank to Dr. Claw. They had another agent pose as a member of the repair crew at the Space Port so he could replace the oxygen tanks with crazy gas. That way, all attempts to remove the black box from the satellite would fail. Dr. Claw told them to sabotage all the other banks who used satellite transactions as well. They took a tentacled space pod into space to install a black box on the satellite for international bank transfers. After that, they planned to install a device to control the stock exchange. When Inspector Gadget came to investigate in a small shuttle of his own, Null and Void wanted to use the microwave transmissions to rearange his molecular structure. But Penny used her computer book to take control of the satellite and send the rays at Null and Void's pod instead. When Gadget took a spacewalk, they managed to grab him with the tentacles on their pod. But then Claw informed them that the stolen money was being returned by the computer. Null and Void tried to look into it, but saw a police ship arrive to save Gadget, and decided to flee with their vehicle as fast as they could.[3]

They look exactly alike with the same bowler hats, yellow scarfs, coats, trousers and shoes.
