"Inspector Gadget is always on duty!"
A handheld fan, operated by one of the Gadget Hands that extend from Inspector Gadget's hat, can be used for various purposes.
In Hong Kong, Gadget ended up in the water several times. At one point, he used his Gadget Fan while lying in the water on his back to propell him forward like a human motor boat. He also deployed his Gadget Skis in this case.[1]
