In the second season of Inspector Gadget, Gadget, Penny and Brain have moved away from their original home and into another, larger house in Metro City, which has been equipped with all kinds of gadgets both inside and out. Or, as the Inspector puts it, "A gadget for everything, and everything a gadget." Chief Quimby used various hiding places in and around the house to give Gadget assignments. Most of the House Gadgets can be operated by a remote control unit usually handled by Penny. Gadget legs on stilts can also extend from strategic points and corners to lift the entire house into the air. When the legs retract, the house falls neatly back into it's original location.
