The Gadget Shaver is one of the gadgets installed in Gadget's House during the second season of Inspector Gadget.
Inspector Gadget sang his own theme tune while taking a hot shower in his Gadget House. A mechanical arm handed him a fresh bar of soap when he needed it. Gadget then asked for "Go- Go Cold Water", and the shower head began to pour icecubes onto him instead of water. As Gadget exited the bathtube he said he found the shower invigorating, then slopped on some icecubes that had landed on the carpet. Sliding behind a screen, he emerged on the other side fully clothed.[1]
When the M.A.D. Ninja broke into Gadget's house at night, only Brain was awake to notice it. The crafty dog led the Ninja into the bathroom, where he strategically placed a bar of soap on the floor so that the Ninja slipped and slided into the bath. The Gadget Shower was activated and began scrubbing and washing the Ninja against his wishes. The Ninja eventually managed to pull a lever located next to the faucet, which caused all of the bath's contents, including himself, to drop down a large drainpipe. he ended up exiting a closet.[2]
Gadget was tricked into babysitting five infants (actually five imps known as the Linguinis). The Linguinis changed places with five baby dolls to poses a nurse. Gadget fell for the switch and took the fake babies to the Gadget Shower. The Linguini nurse was about to hand him a bar of soap filled with explosives, but Brain, dressed as a large rubber duck, saved Gadget's life.[3]
