Inspector Gadget's Gadget Clock
The Gadget Watch is one of Inspector Gadget's Gadgets. It was given to him by Professor Gizmo. Unlike his other gadgets, the Gadget Watch is not connected to the Inspector's body, and can therefore be handled by anybody. The watch could tell the time at the push of a button. But another button located next to it fired a freeze ray which froze anyone for ten seconds.
History[]
When Professor Gizmo presented his invention to Inspector Gadget, he demonstrated the freeze capability on Gadget's dog. He then handed the watch over to Gadget, who promptly froze the professor. Penny instructed her uncle to use the release button, and Gizmo continued his sentenced, unaware that he had been momentarily frozen.
Inspector Gadget returned to his hotel, and managed to freeze the operator of a very crowded elevator. Gadget, however, did not notice his freeze ray had gone off and complained about the elevator's operator misjudging his stop. Gadget thought he spotted M.A.D. agents at a carnival warehouse. Satisfied with himself, he checked his watch and froze himself. The innocent movers thought Gadget was insane and called a doctor to pick him up. At the French insane asylum, Gadget froze Doctor Flugelmeyer as well as Brain (dressed as Napoleon).
During the Carnaval Parade in Nice, Gadget mistakingly froze two Gendarmes, whom he accused of impersonating officers of the law. Pickpocket Angelique stole the watch from Gadget, but it was immediately snatched back by Penny, who froze Angelique when she snuck up behind her. Angelique's teacher, LeDip grabbed the watch from Penny, but froze himself by mistake. Penny told Brain to return the watch to her Uncle, who inadvertedly froze the Mayor of the town, and also Chief Quimby when he arrived on the scene.
Trivia[]
The Gadget Watch should not be confused with the Gadget Clock, which featured a picture of the Inspector on it's face, nor with the Gadget Chronograph Watch, which the Inspector ordered from World Inspectors Supply.
