Gadgetorum is the great-great grandfather of Inspector Gadget.
Routine[]
He was a slave to the Emperor of Rome, who sentenced him to be fed to the lions. However, when Gadget, Penny and Brain arrived in Professor Von Slickstein's time machine, Gadgetorum was surprised to see his 20th century descendant, who joined him, but Gadget saved himself and his ancestor in a display of adeptness, and used the lions to pose for photographs.
During that time, Thelma Bodkin, Fred and Pops arrived in the Roman era to steal a secret scroll and gold for Dr. Claw and destroy Gadget and his ancestor. However, during a first attempt, Gadget and Gadgetorum ended up in a lady's bathroom, while Penny discovered the Roman gold and scroll, before Bodkin arrived.
Taking part of the chariot race, Fred and Pops tried to stop Gadget and Gadgetorum, but the Gadgets foiled their attempt and won the race. Taking his 20th century descendants back to the Colosseum, Gadget, Penny and Brain arrived back at the time machine, and Penny gave Gadgetorum the Roman gold to buy his freedom and a recipe for Veal Scaloppini and encouraged him to start a restaurant.

Gadgetorum looks like the present day Gadget, but he wears a toga and sandals.
Personality[]
Gadgetorum's personality is different from his descendant. He speaks in an Italian accent.
