Interpol, or INTERPOL, is the shorter name of the International Criminal Police Organization, an international law enforcement agency made up of multiple nations, including countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and France, to combat international crime, such as cybercrime, terrorism, and organized crime, which includes any crime ranging from crimes against humanity, to drug trafficking, to political corruption. Their HQ is in Lyon, France. Their sworn enemy is Dr. Claw and his M.A.D. organization due to their various crimes they commit all over the world. Chief among one of Dr. Claw's plans was having Presto Change-O infiltrate a top security meeting of INTERPOL operatives in London, England, UK, but it was foiled when Gadget bonked Chief Quimby on the head with his Gadget Mallet, proving which Gadget at the meeting was the real one and which was Presto Change-O in disguise. It is also presumed that whenever crimes committed by M.A.D. take place outside of Metro City, either elsewhere in the USA or around the world, INTERPOL notifies Chief Quimby of what happened and requests Inspector Gadget be assigned to stop M.A.D.'s plot.
