Lana is evil, manipulative, and seductive. Gadget, being the bumbling idiot he is, was completely oblivious to this fact, until she was incarcerated.

Appearance[]

She is buxom, attractive, has blonde hair, wears a red dress, and black high heels. She speaks with an unidentified European accent.

History[]

Lana Lamour was supposedly shooting a new movie set in medieval times near Metro City. The actual objective of this ruse was to spy on a nearby Top-Secret Military Installation. Lana visited Dr. Claw in his Castle hideout where she was ordered to take care of Inspector Gadget if he showed up.

Already a fan of Lana's, Gadget applied for a job as an extra on the set. Lana promised her accomplice, the M.A.D. Director, to take care of the Inspector himself. She invited him to her trailer, where two other M.A.D. Agents, Fred and Bruce, forced him into his costume: a knight's armor. Later, several scenes were shot on the set (although the cameraman was pointing his lens at the nearby missile site all the time). Lana herself remained in the background of these scenes, dressed as a medieval princess, while Gadget faced "The Black Knight" in a joust and hand-to-hand combat, then finally took on a fire-breathing dragon. During this last sequence, Lana's place was taken by her "stunt double".

Gadget managed to survive everything the Director threw at him, so later that night Lana invited the Inspector back to her trailer to take care of him personally. Because of the Inspector's infatuation with Lana, his gadgets tended to go haywire at inappropriate moments. When Lana appeared in the doorway to her Trailer, a dog tried to manoeuvre Gadget away from her, but Gadget extended his arms and grabbed her as he roled away on his Gadget Skates. She promised him some cocoa if he took her back to her trailer, but ended up crashing headfirst through it's door. Shortly afterward, Lana drugged the Inspectors cocoa. However, she was knocked to the floor when Gadget demonstrated several of his gadgets in quick succession, including a playful punch to her arm, blowing a whistle in his face, accidentaly tripping her with his Gadget Skis and hitting her with his GadgetMallet by mistake. Oblivious to what he had just done, Gadget surmised that Lana must be exhausted after a long day filming.

The M.A.D. Director entered the trailer and told Gadget to get back into costume, then told a still groggy Lana that Dr. Claw himself had given instructions for Gadget's final scene. Gadget was supposed to jump from one parapet to another. A bed of spikes was revealed underneath the second Parapet, but by using his inflatable Gadget Coat, Gadget bounced off the spikes and landed on top of the Director, Lana, Fred and Bruce, knocking them out. Moments later, Chief Quimby and his men arrived on the scene and arrested all of the M.A.D. Agents, including Lana Lamour.
