Less Renowned is a character in Inspector Gadget. He is Dr. Claw's old mentor and "teacher". He made his first appearance in "Gadget Meets the Clan".
Physical Description[]
Less is an elderly, thin man with white hair. He wears a yellow shirt and purple tie under a pink suit with a purple hat.
Routine[]
He consistently wakes up and cleans up his appearance. He then goes to his education sector and teaches individuals how to be evil.
Personality[]
Less Renowned is very forgetful due to his age. Despite his senility, he has great knowledge in the criminal arts and knows of many famous crime bosses, such as The Great, Great Godfather, not to mention having connections with them. Because of his forgetfulness, Dr. Claw often has to remind him of his name. Less Renowned refers to Dr. Claw as his best pupil, since he had taught Dr. Claw the art of crime.
History[]
After his previous M.A.D. agents failed to do away with Gadget in the previous season and episodes, Dr. Claw telephoned his old mentor, Less Renowned to help him find someone to finish the job, and Less came up with the one person for it, the Great-Great Godfather and his sons, much to Claw's delight
After the G.G.G.'s failure and arrest, Less introduced Claw to Viola and Sadie, two old women to do away with Gadget, by posing as his fan club. However, their attempts were thwarted by Gadget's bumbling and Brain's interference.
In his final appearance, Less was contacted by Claw, who asked him to bring Spuds Malone and his tommy-gun weapon the Red Rose out of retirement to do away with Gadget. When Spuds and his two cronies, Tater and Knuckles returned to the Bad Guys and Gals Retirement Home, Less angrily confronts Spuds on the destroyed gate and it's going to cost him for it, but Spuds tell him that he can charge it to M.A.D..
