The M.A.D. Warden is a character in Inspector Gadget. His only appearance is in the episode "The Great Divide".
Routine[]
When the Gadget clan arrive at the Rocky Mountains, Gadget sees a warden's cabin, to where he sees the warden himself. After a brief talk with Gadget, whom is on a mission to find a kidnapped seismologist, the warden goes inside his cabin and gets Gadget some supplies: A false map, a worn and weak rope, and some dynamite. It is then revealed to this point that the warden is a M.A.D. agent.
After two failed attempts on Gadget's life, in which after the second attempt he literally eats is hat, the warden tells Gadget about an old prospector who might be of some help to find the seismologist, to which only the warden knows that the prospector is fiercely protective of his gold and that the people who have tried to get near him have disappeared.
Penny, while investigating, sees the warden moving the seismologist's trailer, but suddenly loses sight of him.
Eventually, after a chain of events, the kidnapped seismologist is rescued, Dr. Claw's plan goes up in smoke (literally), and the warden, along with two other M.A.D agents, is arrested.
