Mayor Wilson is a character in Inspector Gadget and Inspector Gadget 2. She is the mayor of Riverton, Ohio.

Inspector Gadget

Wilson works as the city mayor of Riverton. She is very dedicated to her job and takes every chance to get her picture taken by the paparazzi. She first appeared alongside Chief Quimby, coming to console Brenda Bradford about her father before confessing she never knew him and was interested in their Gadget program and heard that security guard John Brown, who was somatised by Scolex was the perfect subject.

Wilson later attended the gala in Gadget's honour, where she sees Gadget and Brenda together.

She appears at the end when Claw was apprehended by Gadget and Gadgetmobile.

Inspector Gadget 2

Years later, Claw escaped and Wilson unveils G2 to replace Gadget when he started developing glitches.

She, Quimby and G2 attend her fundraiser gala at the Riverton Museum, where Claw and his men, disguised as musicians, gassed everyone with laughing gas and stopped G2 with a magnet and stole the million dollar ruby that was on loan from India. After Claw and his men escaped with the ruby, Wilson ordered Quimby to deactivate G2 and stop the Gadget Program.

Wilson was later seen in her office, getting her picture taken, when she was frozen by Claw's ray, along with the rest of Riverton. However, she was unfrozen by Gadget, Penny and G2 after they found the password for Claw's weapon when Claw escaped, and she awards Gadget and G2 medals for their services and reinstate their jobs.

She later watched Gadget shoot off fireworks with Quimby, when one firework lands by their feet and explodes in their faces, causing them to yell Gadget's name.

Mayor Wilson is serious with her job and would take every single chance to get her picture taken by the paparazzi.

Appearance

Wilson is a young woman with a slender build. She was seen wearing business suits in various colors. In the first film, she had brown hair, but in the sequel, she now has black hair.
