The Metro City Bowling Alley is a location in Metro City featured in the second season of Inspector Gadget.
History[]
Gadget took his niece Penny, dog Brain and his new assistant Corporal Capeman bowling at the Metro City Bowling Alley. After Penny scored a strike, it was Capeman's turn. He tripped on his cape and rolled down the aisle and scored a strike using his full body. This impressed his mentor, who complimented him by saying, "Now that's what I call a strike". Before Gadget could roll his ball, the game was interrupted by a call from the Top-Secret Gadget Phone. Chief Quimby was hiding in one of the bowling ball return machines, and handed Gadget his mission on a self-destructing note. Gadget and Capeman were tasked to investigate the Eccentric Inventors Convention. Before leaving, the Inspector rolled up the note and stuck it in one of the holes of his bowling ball. He hit a strike, and the ball returned to the machine Quimby occupied, then the message exploded in the Chief's face.
