The Metro City Museum is a location in Metro City featured in the second season of Inspector Gadget.
To celebrate M.A.D.'s eight anniversary, Dr. Claw planned to commit eight crimes in Metro City. For the first crime, M.A.D. Agent Pops posed as a caterer inside the museum and caused a distraction with smoke bombs, so that his fellow agent Dick could grab the famous Clopman diamond with a crane and replace it with a fake. Pops left a calling card in the shape of a candle with MAD written on it. Both agents got away in the caterer's truck under the noses of Inspector Gadget and Corporal Capeman.[1]
Another time, Gadget took Penny and Brain to a display of dinosaurs. He decided to take a ride on a stuffed Pterodactyl using the blades of his 'Copter. During his flight, Gadget received a call on his Top-Secret Gadget Phone and was told to meet Chief Quimby in the moon landing display. After traveling back in time with Von Slickstein's time machine, Gadget returned to the present and landed on the tusks of a stuffed mammoth at the museum.
