- Audio/Visual: Gadget's lips don't move when he exits the prison cell to chase the monkey (Brain in disguise) as he says "Stand back, police!".
- Animation mistake: Inside the temple, Fred and Squirt pass a metal door and turn around the corner. Suddenly, Brain appears out of thin air in the middle of the shot.
- Continuity: Brain is seen inside the temple already wearing a green sarong. But a few seconds later, he is seen changing into the green sarong.
- Continuity: When the Wild Man of Borneo is knocked out by Brain pushing a sick explorer into him, bubbles are seen coming out of the Wild Man's mouth before he is infected with his own virus. The bubbles should have been coming from the explorer's mouth instead.
Trivia[]
- Despite needing a shot, Gadget is a cyborg and therefore, non-organic in a sense.
- This is the only episode of the 1983 series in which Penny wears two different disguises: as a local wagon master (under which she wears her regular outfit), and as an indigenous Bornean.
