Constantly bickering with his twin brother.
History[]
The O'Shea Brothers were instrumental in removing Ireland's national treasure, the Blarney stone, from Castle Blarney using a catapult. Dr. Claw intended to get a high price in ransom for the stone. When Inspector Gadget travelled to Ireland to investigate, the two brothers met the Gadget Van on the road, driving their own truck, which took up most of the narrow road. Wrong Way was in the drivers seat while his brother was seated in the back of the truck surrounded by barrels.
After Wrong Way's attempt to force the Gadget Van off the road and into the river failed, his brother was shocked to see the now converted Gadgetmobile coming up behind them once more. He grabbed a stick of dynamite, stuck it into a barrel, lit the fuse and kicked the barrel off the truck, aiming for Gadget's vehicle. O'Shea closed his eyes and put his fingers in his ears, waiting for the explosion, but Gadget caught the barrel and extended one of his Gadget Arms to return it to it's place of origin. O'Shea kicked it off the truck again, and his brother increased their vehicle's speed. Having once again caught the barrel, Gadget managed to throw it back onto the brother's truck, and the vehicle explosed as they passed under a bridge.
A short while later, Gadget, his niece Penny and their dog Brain stopped at the ruins of an old church, where the O'Shea brother were already waiting for them. Wrong Way O'Shea attracted Gadget's attention by whistling and inquired if he could be of any help. Gadget asked for direction to County Cork, where the Blarney stone used to be, only to be answered by the other O'Shea brother, who made it clear that he had recognized Gadget and knew his name. The first brother then told Gadget to take the road over a nearby bridge and identified himself as "Wrong Way" O'Shea. They had already rigged the bridge with dynamite, and used it destroy a portion in the middle of the bridge. Gadget tumbled out of his car and into the river, leaving the two brothers danced with delight.
Gadget survived and made it to a local pub where he and his family took a room for the night. Wrong Way O'Shea attempted to clobber the Inspector with a large wooden club both inside his room and up on the roof. At one point, Wrong Way lost his club, but his brother retrieved it and popped up out of a chimney located behind the Inspector. He was about hit Gadget on the head when he noticed Brain, who had also climbed onto the roof, and ducked back inside the chimney.
The next day, Claw contacted the O'Sheas in their Celtic ruins hideout. There they were surrounded by piles of money and were about to unpack a large laser gun from a crate. He ordered a progress report concerning Gadget, and Wrong Way began to blame his brother, who countered that it was all Wrong Way's fault. Claw insisted that they got rid of Gadget and set up the laser to cut the Blarney stone into smaller pieces to be sent to Claw. The dark green suited brother reminded Claw that they had already collected a king's ransom for the stone, but Claw wanted to make even more money by selling the Blarney in tiny pieces. He told them that one of them should collect the trinkets while the other got Gadget.
O'Shea hid inside a knight's armor at Blarney Castle. Despite his size, he somehow managed to move the entire suit as if it was being worn by a full sized person. He crept up behind Inspector Gadget, who suspected the Blarney Castle caretaker of being a M.A.D. Agent. O'Shea was about to hit Gadget with a spiked mace when Brain, now dressed as a leprechaun, dropped a large chandelier (and himself) onto the suit of armor, demobilizing it. Gadget began to chase Brain, and stepped on the armored helmet at the very moment O'Shea tried to open it, leaving him grumbling.
Pennny told Brain to lead her uncle to the Celtic ruins, where she had discovered the O'Shea's hideout. The dark suited brother noticed where Gadget was headed and informed his brother by walkie-talkie. A short while later he returned to the ruins and asked Wrong Way if the laser was working yet. Wrong Way fired a shot that knocked his brother over, and elatedly shouted "it works!" with no concern for the other's safety. At that moment Dr. Claw contacted the brothers again and reminded them that the stone should be cut into tiny pieces by the time he arrived. O'Shea insured him it would be ready in time, then told Wrong Way to cut the stone. Inspector Gadget arrived on the scene, asked if the brothers had seen a suspect he was chasing, then inquired about the laser cannon. The dark suited brother told Gadget it was a camera and Wrong Way asked The Inspector if he would like his picture taken. Gadget agreed and took out his four leaf clover. But he couldn't decide on exactly where to stand, and the two brothers were soon annoyed at being unable to aim their laser on the ever moving Inspector. When they finally had him in their sights, Brain intervened by pushing Gadget out of the way of certain desintigration.
Wrong way accused his brother of missing the shot, while the other O'Shea honestly replied that Gadget had moved instead. Penny then took control of the laser cannon using her computer book. She made it spin around at great speed, and the two brothers were caught up in it's rotation, then catapulted onto a large stone slab. They were dismayed to find the cannon now aming at the pair of them and ducked. But the cannon shot a laser beam at the slab, causing it to fall forward and pin the brothers to the ground. Chief Quimby and the Blarney Castle's caretaker arrived on the scene, congratulating Gadget on a case well done, assuming that he had captured both M.A.D. agents.
