Penny is Inspector Gadget's niece and one of the main protagonists of the 2015 CGI series. Penny secretly helps out her Uncle Gadget with his missions and does all the work, but she lets him get all the credit in the end.

Inspector Gadget (2015 TV Series)[]
Penny now joins Gadget on his missions and is an agent in training. Despite being Gadget's new assistant, and that Gadget is now aware of Penny's capabilities, he still doesn't pay attention to her and does what he wants instead.
Personality[]
Penny is precocious, intelligent, brave, cute, tomboyish, resourceful, and anonymously solves the cases for her Uncle Gadget, something which he is totally oblivious to. Penny also loves her uncle very much and looks up to him.
Penny is also very patient and progressive, particularly when putting up with her uncle's clumsiness and stupidity.
Penny is now a junior agent. She is a lot more active and is a good fighter. She acts like a typical teenage girl when she's not on duty. She is very intelligent in addition to her cuteness and beauty and is capable of hacking into almost any computer-based system. Despite being fearless and a genius, Penny does have her weaknesses. It is shown in episodes such as "Gadget 2.0", that she has a strong weakness for boys and gets nervous when they're near her. She might be in love with Dr. Claw's nephew, Talon.
Appearance[]
Penny has shoulder-length blonde hair styled in pigtails and wears a red and white hoodie with a HQ symbol, blue jeans, red boots with white laces, and red fingerless gloves. On two occasions, she is seen wearing a similar uniform, except it is black with neon blue stripes along the seams, and the boots have neon blue laces, as shown below. Penny's swimwear is also different, as it now consists of a colored tank top and beach shorts after her original outfit. Her sleepwear in this series is also modeled after her DiC counterpart's original outfit.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Martial Arts/Combatant : Penny has incredible hand to hand combat skills. She is seen training a lot throughout the series, and can take down Talon and her foes with ease.

Trivia[]
- According to "You Know the Drill", she is claustrophobic.
- Coincidentally, Cree Summer and Tara Strong (2015 series only) are best friends and both Canadians.
- In the episode "Midnight Madness", she has Gelotophobia (afraid of being laughed at).
- Her combat style in the 2015 series appears to be slightly balletic. It pops up in "Ticked Off" when she pirouettes en dehors during her showdown with Talon on the clock tower (at 18m 22s in the container episode). Ironically, she isn't very good at dancing when she consciously tries it, as demonstrated with jazz dance in "Forever M.A.D." and modern dance in "Talent Show Off". It could be that she's better as a dance battler than as an actual dancer.

- Towering Towers: Put in a full-body bind by Talon's bubble gum gun and almost executed by MADthew.
- Rock Out: Trapped with Nigel in his limousine when Talon seals it electrically.
- Strike A Pose: Sealed in a laser net by Corsetta Camisole's weaponized handbag along with Gadget and Brain.
- A Better Class of MAD: Caught snooping in Isla Diabolico's database and subjected to the deceptively paradisical "star treatment" by MADalena.
- One Bad Apple: Trapped in a room full of man-eating apples with Talon.
- Sucks Like MAD: Sucked up by her rear end into a vacuum pipe.
- Operation Hocus Pocus: Dumped into the MADgician's labyrinth via a trap door, followed shortly after by Talon.
- Airhead To The Throne: Sealed in a glass box as the MAD lair is about to self-destruct.
- Beyond Gadgetdome: Chained to Ayers Rock by Talon.
- Too Many Talons: Laser-tied by Talon and one of his clones.
- Inspector Gadget Goes To Jail: Arrested for rule-breaking by Talon, disguised as Warden McSupercool.
