"Inspector Gadget is always on duty!"
The Robot Monks were robots used by Dr. Claw and his field agent Professor Lasre in Inspector Gadget.
Routine[]
The Robot monks were dressed in robes that covered their entire body. Only glowing yellow "eyes" were visible from beneth their hoods and when they exposed their arms from their sleeves, they turned out to be metal claws.
One of the Robot Monks was of a smaller size than the others, and had difficulty performing tasks with them because of the size difference.

The Robot Monks were used by Dr. Claw to guard the stolen ruby "Big Red" in the laser lab located in Dr. Claw's Indian fortress. After Inspector Gadget cInspector Gadget managed to evade two hungry tigers that were set upon him, Claw activated a squad of Robot Monks to go and get him. They carried him up the stairs and chained him to the outside of the fortress, so he could be used as a target for Professor Lasre's newly completed Super Laser. The Inspector assumed they were about to perform some kind of ritual dance and that his chains were safety ironss to keep him from falling.
From another tower, Penny observed the proceedings, and used her computer book to take control of the Robot Monks. The monks began to perform a dance on the ledge of the tower. One of them moved in front of Gadget and was struck by the Super Laser. The remaining monks begaon to spin and one of them kicked off the ledge by a fellow monk. Another two were inadvertedly knocked through the ledge when Gadget extended his Gadget Arms downwards (having first used his Gadget Legs to reach a higher position).
Penny then took control of two Robot Monks that were guarding the Laser Lab and made them pick up Professor Lasre and deposit him out the window and into the arms of a tiger.
