Squint is a stock bald man with a bulbous long nose. He wears a brown prison uniform with a matching hat and white shoes. Squint also wears white framed glasses with red lenses.

Personality[]

Squint was extremely nearsighted without his glasses, which he often misplaced. Despite this, he was very good at forging counterfeit money moulds, and went as far as to call himself "The best engraver in the world".

History[]

After M.A.D. had already busted out one member of the Funny Money Counterfeiting Gang, the two remaining members, Squint and Inky were told to wait by the prison wall in order to escape in a laundry truck driven by M.A.D. Agent, Bruce. When Inspector Gadget arrived, using his extending Gadget Legs to jump over the wall, he asked for directions to the prisoner's parking lot. Inky made use of the situation by telling the Inspector he wanted to move his car, lest not to receive a ticket. Ever helpful, Gadget grabbed Inky by the arm and deposited him over the wall so he could check his car. Inky thanked him and landed in the back of the laundry truck, which drove off. Dr. Claw decided that Squint would be busted out at a later time.

Having lost his glasses, Squint did not realize Inky had left and bumped into the wall trying to find him. Gadget helped Squint up and was taken to his jail cell when exercise time was over. Gadget admired the walls of the cell, which were covered with Squint's moulds used to print counterfeit money. When Gadget used his skeleton key to unlock the cell door, Squint assumed that Gadget had been sent by "The Big Man" and Gadget misunderstood him, assumed that Squint was one of Chief Quimby's men. Squint attempted to lead Gadget out of jail, but was accidentally hit on the head by the Gadget Mallet. His glasses were knocked off and then stepped on by the Inspector, shattering the lenses and rendering them useless. When Gadget accidentally activated his Gadget Domelight, Squint cried out "Yikes, don't shoot" before several prison guards arrived and took him and Gadget back to the cell.

Later, as they lay on their prison cots, Squint was contacted by Dr. Claw, who told him his men were coming to get him that night. Claw reminded Squint not to forget the forgery plates, identified his cellmate as Gadget, and told Squint to get rid of him. First, Squint thought he could finish off Gadget while he was asleep, then tried to attack the inspector when he woke. Failing both times, he told Gadget they were on kitchen duty and implored him to use his key on the locked door again. In the kitchen, Squint told Gadget to check if the oven was empty, then charged at the Inspector from behind. But he ended up stuck in a pot inside the oven himself. Gadget took the pot out, but Squint ended up in a large blender instead. Later, he attempted to hit Gadget over the head with a mop, but kept swinging and missing. Then Gadget activated his Gadget 'Copter in order to chop some cabbages. Squint was buried in a pile of chopped cabbages. Squint was ectatic when he thought he finally hit Gadget with a frying pan, but in reality he had hit Gadget's dog Brain who had dug a tunnel into the prison kitchen.

The M.A.D. Laundry truck returned to the prison, this time driven by Lenny, who ensured one of the guards that he was part of the night shift. Squint could not find his way out of the kitchen, and was glad when Gadget addressed him. Squint told him they were on laundry duty now, and together they went to the prison yard. After Gadget told him the truck was right in front of him, Squint used the frying pan to knock Lenny on the head (thinking it was Gadget) and take his seat behind the wheel of the truck. Brain joined him in the passenger seat, and Squint assumed it was another inmate wanting to escape. Gadget, meanwhile, got in the back of the truck with all the dirty laundry. Squint began driving wildly around the prison yard, but Dr. Claw used the lasers from his M.A.D. Mobile to destroy the prison gates. Asking Brain for directions, Squint managed to drive the truck through the hole in the wall that used to be the gates, and escaped. When Penny contacted Brain on his dog collar intercom, Squint thought he heard something, but was uncertain what it was.

Arriving at the warehouse where his fellow gang members were setting up the printing facilities, Squint was shocked when Gadget appeared behind him. Thinking they had arrived at the prison's laundry, Gadget asked where the washing machines were. Squint told the Inspector to follow him, then walked straight into a wall. Gadget picked him up using his Gadget Arms and carried him inside, where they were met by the two other counterfeiters. Dr. Claw noticed Gadget and told Inky to get rid of him while Squint got to work on the machines.

When Claw was satisfied that the gang had produced enough false money, he told them to meet him at M.A.D. headquarters after destroying all the evidence, and Gadget along with it. Squint answered, he was looking forward to getting rid of Gadget, planning to leave Gadget in a room with a large sack filled with a time bomb at the door. The gang loaded the money on a helicopter and were about to leave the place behind. Gadget led himself out of the room using his skeleton key once more, then chased Brain onto the roof where the helicopter was about to take off with Squint at the controls. Gadget extended his arms and grabbed on the helicopter. The Funny Money gang was unaware that Gadget was hanging from the chopper until he stuck out his Gadget Neck to talk to them. Realizing that Gadget still thought that the gang members were on his side, he decided to take him on a wild ride. The unidentified member told Squint that Gadget was still with them, to which Squint replied that they would take him to see Claw. Squint was flying right towards a large water tank, when Penny took control of the vehicle using her computer book. She directed the helicopter to fly back to the prison and land in the courtyard, where the entire Funny Money gang was captured by the police.
