Sykes is the secondary antagonist of Inspector Gadget. He was one of Claw's minion until Penny redeemed him at the end.

Sykes worked as a minion for Dr. Claw, and was his limo driver. He joined his boss in the theft of the robotic foot from the Gadget Project and the murder of Artemus Bradford.
After Scolex became Dr. Claw after his left hand was crushed by a bowling ball, Sykes became the reluctant test subject for Claw's prototype, Promethus, which led to him getting shocked.
Later on, Sykes watched a news report about Inspector Gadget, who was previously John Brown, the security guard they blew up on the night of the theft, with his boss, while M.A.D. Cat stole his food, which led to him fighting over it with the cat.
When Gadget broke into the Scolex Industries building to retrieve the foot, Sykes was sleeping while watching the monitors, but he woke up when Gadget tripped the alarm, forcing to send Claw's robot tanks in capturing him. After Claw deactivated Gadget, Sykes was ordered to dump him in the junk yard.
After Claw captured Brenda, Sykes was ordered to get rid of the foot by shoving it down the toilet, when he was confronted by Penny, who asked him to give up his life of crime, which led to his redemption and he confesses his former boss' crimes to Chief Quimby and hands him the stolen foot.
He was later seen at Minions Anonymous with other known henchmen from the James Bond movies and horror stories.

Sykes was originally cruel and devious, but he reformed with help from Penny after he confessed his ex-boss' crimes to Chief Quimby.

Sykes is an overweight man with slicked black hair and wears black through the movie.
