Surname[]
Her being surnamed Brown in the live film should have no impact on the TV series because it appears to conflict with it. In the TV series if Gadget's 2 parents had the surname gadget we must assume that was his last name, not Brown.
Even if Brown were his surname (apparently he gets that in Gadgetinis?) that wouldn't mean that Penny's was either since she's not his daughter (and even with daughters it's not a guarantee). +Yc 02:06, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

Grandparents[]
Some people named Ann Brown and Jules Brown are indicated to be her grandparents on this page. I made their names into links and found them red, we have no articles.
Where are these characters introduced, and where are they indicated to be her grandparents?
Let's keep in mind that if these are Gadget's parents, that would not necessarily mean that they are Penny's grandparents. We do not know if Gadget is supposed to be the sibling of Penny's mother or father, and we also do not know if Gadget is even a full sibling or a half sibling or whichever parent he's supposedly related to.
Unless the canon calls them grandparents at some point, I don't think we should assume that. talk2ty 07:14, September 6, 2015 (UTC)
Relative hair color[]
Noticed 2 claims in trivia:
- it is shown in episode of Gadget and the Gadgetinis that all her relatives have black hair.
- in an episode of the original series, her ancestor's are blonde.
I would like to know if anyone knows which episode of either series each bullet it talking about. These are vague and unconfirmed right now. If we at least know the name, it allows us to check the episode and get a screencap of these mysterious alleged relatives/ancestors. Age sourcing[]
Presently on page:
- Penny's age throughout the original animated series is 10 years old. 2 years later, she is 12 years old in Gadget and the Gadgetinis and Inspector Gadget's Last Case. 3 years later and she is 15 in the 2015 series. A year later she is 16 years old in the 2005 film Inspector Gadget's Biggest Caper Ever.
What actual evidence do we have to support these figures? If possible I'd like to incorporate references into the template for whatever we can verify. talk2ty 03:29, October 1, 2016 (UTC)

Kayla has referred to her by the full name of "Miss Penny Perfect":
So this would make her full name Penny Ruth Perfect. Unless someone has a better candidate? talk2ty 18:31, April 10, 2018 (UTC)
